Our Story

HomeBase was born from a desire and a philosophy – the desire to create more human-centered spaces and the philosophy of minimalism. Our rooms are designed to be functional without being excessive and to be minimalist without sacrificing comfort. In every detail, we aim to offer a thoughtful space that feels both calming and welcoming.

Kapitolyo is a vibrant neighborhood known for its cozy cafés and wide array of local restaurants. Just minutes from Bonifacio Global City, Capitol Commons, and the Ortigas Business District, it’s both the perfect base for exploring Metro Manila and also having a quiet night in.

My third time and definitely not the last time I’m staying at HomeBase whenever I need a place in the metro! The room is clean, cozy, comfortable and private. I appreciate the flexible check-in and check-out and the responsiveness of the hosts. I seriously daydream of having a three-day staycation at this place. Too bad the weather was stormy and the nearby Lao Tai Pei was closed when I went. 😀

The hosts were great, very considerate. The location is perfect, with everything I needed especially parking. The room is ideal for solo or couple since the toilet partition is just a thick curtain. Just inform the host if you prefer a different room. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely come back if I need a place around Kapitolyo 🙂
