Minimalist Apartment Hotel in Kapitolyo, Pasig

I was literally looking for a homebase for myself while my relative was undergoing a procedure in a nearby Pasig hospital. Sakto it was a trike or jeep ride away in commercial Kapitolyo, canteen, restos and supermarket within walking distance. Kyle and his staff are extremely accommodating and helped us figure out our check-in schedule (which was in flux due to hospi factors). Sans office and despite the short notice, they also aided us in getting needed hospi documents for which I am very grateful. Homebase is as described; it was a welcome neomodern, wabi-sabi respite from the dreary gov’t hospital scene. Like any lodging that is a few months old, one will only find and fix the house problems (e.g. plumbing: I was promptly moved into a room with better ventilation) once its lived in and I believe Kyle and his team will address these in time. If you’re looking for quieter space you could request for a room on the higher floors, as the restobar beside Homebase goes on till 2am.

I loved the place. It’s situated in the heart of Kapitolyo which is home to great restaurants and cafes. It’s also near BGC where I work. No curfew, and there’s a security guard in wee hours. The room is nice, AC works well, has a ref and freezer. Would love to stay again.
